I wanted to visit this place for lunch because of the Larry Bird memorabilia. My wife wanted to eat at a different local restaurant - - - I should have listened to her. The buffalo chicken wrap was just OK, but the chips that were served with the sandwich had no taste what-so-ever. Overall , a very mediocre place for lunch. My wife was not impressed either!

The service was wonderful, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. However, I found the food to be mediocre and the prices to be a tad high for the quality.

I highly suggest you DO NOT go here. After waiting 45 minutes for a table, we were then ignored for about 20-30 minutes, we decided to just order appetizers and desserts, due to having a late lunch. The waitress finally came and got our drink order and brought them after a while, and said she would be back to get our order. Again after waiting another 20 minutes and watching our waitress wait on a big table (of about 8) really that's the only table she went to the whole time we were there. My husband who is the most patient person ever, said let's just get the ticket and leave, but we couldn't get her to even look our way to get a ticket. He said we will just leave cash in the amount we think the sodas would be. I didn't feel comfortable with that, but he left with my daughters, I fInally found what appeared to be an assistant manager to ask for our check and he Acted clueless as to how he could do that, finally they came with our check, which I found ridiculous after that poor of service to make us pay for our 4 sodas!!! Please don't waste your time here, there are plenty of other yummy restaurants with kind folks in French Lick!!

If you are at the French Lick hotel and want an excellent place to eat and socialize then this is the place. Wait staff is super, get the ribs, you will not be wrong. I will be back.

Tons of sports memorabilia, but not as many TVs as I like in a sports bar. Excellent burgers and salads.

One of the best places to eat/drink in the little town of French Lick. People who stay at the resort simply walk the 2 blocks to 33 Brick Street for great food/drink at reasonable prices. They advertise that they use certified Angus beef for both their steaks and burgers. The burger I ordered was quite good so I can attest to the quality of the meat. Service was good. Prompt and friendly without being overbearing.

Not a bad little sports bar. Lots of memorabilia and some TVs. The food is average bar good. The fried pickles are good, but I agree with another review that they are super salty (I like that, though). The rookie burger appears like it might be prefab/frozen but it had a good strong onion flavor and lots of cheese. A solid burger. They had lots of beer on tap, including lots of basics like Coors and Miller, but also a Leinenkugel and Shock Top. Service was good. Prompt and accurate, with a decent amount of checkups to make sure food was good and drinks were filled and refilled.

This place has so much potential but leaves much to be desired in terms of service and food quality. I ordered the fish n chips. I was expecting tempura batter cod and streak cut fries. What I got was something that looked like boxed fish from a supermarket and some soggy crinkle cut french fries. Both items were really greasy which tells me they were not fried at the right temperature(or frozen). I was surprised with their nice selection of beer but was not impressed that the waitress had no knowledge of any of the beer. Place has potential just needs better management and food quality.

This place was Awesome! We tried to go the night before, business they were short staffed. We decided to give it on last chance and so glad we did. The steak we had was unbelievable. Cook to perfection. We tried the fried pickles for the first time and was not disappointed. I enjoyed looking at all the interesting Sports items all over the restaurant. I am so glad we decided to give it a second chance.

Steak was really good. The service was slow. But couldn't beat the steak. If give it a higher rating if the service was better.

My steak was very good and cooked as ordered. The mac and cheese was great. The beer selection was very minimal.

Do not waste your time or money. I ordered the parmesan crusted tilapia and there was no crust at all. Just a slimt cheese topping. The fish tasted fishy and chewy, and the burgers my family ordered were blah. The server was very rude, and after he asked me opinion of the food, I said, "It was okay. The fish was not good." He said, "Well, it's fresh." Don't argue with the customer after you ask how their food was. I hardly ever complain about my food, but this was terrible.

Ate there on 3-3-4. Sat at the bar. Planned on the steak but when I saw the salmon I had to try it. GREAT with rice and asparagus. Nice place. They could be a bit more generous with the drinks. I ordered a Jack rocks and a dbl Jack rocks. Both were under poured

Don't know that I would go as far as saying "hidden gem".. I'd say that's an overstatement. Let's be honest folks, the place IS nice and the service was good too. We had a few drinks, a wrap and a burger for lunch. The turkey wrap was, and I'm not sure how this can even happen, but it was tasteless. If the folks at 33 are reading Yelp reviews, please look at this. The meat was reminiscent of a lunch meat cut, and the single small strip of bacon faded into the background. It really fizzled. The burger was the devil something-or-other, I'm a big fan of scorched earth and while there were some flavors going on in the the burger, largely it was tame. Overall it was just a little tasty, I think you missed the mark on what you advertised it to be. I expected hot and was left wanting. Get a beer menu, put it on your tables so the wait staff doesn't have to try to remember what else you serve other than the non-domestically owned domestics. I don't know how many beers you have, neither did the waiter. We saw the ads, the billboard, had the hotel recommend it - we walked in ready to be blown away and were met with average. The staff look like they work hard, make the food match the expectation of your patrons and you'll have a truly great establishment. Quick summary: Price point was OK, I did not feel like we got a great value, but also did not feel like it was terribly overpriced. Food: pre-made patties and lunch roll-ups at the cafeteria.

This place has gotten a lot better since originally opening up. The service is quicker, albeit not a "fast" restaurant. I like the Blue Cheese Burger. The chips that come with the sandwiches are very good. It's walking distance from the French Lick Resort/ Hotel. If you are looking for a place to buy alcohol for cheaper, go 10 seconds down the road to the Colonial Bar.

great great great ribs. fall off the bone and tasty. only downside was they didn't season their fries or chips, they were just fried potatoes. nice little find in the area. loved my boston bar tender, always nice to see fellow east coast brethren. I'll be back when I'm in the area, just season more!

Sat in bar. Waitress came out and took order at table next to me and totally ignored me. Bar tender finally came and took my order and worthless waitress brought it to me. I was there 10 mins before the table next to me and 15 before I was waited on.

We were a large family group of 11 and had prompt and courteous service. I had one of the best burgers I've ever eaten (split with husband)! Handmade chips were also very good. Enjoyed beer selection. Viewing the sports memorabilia on the walls is entertaining. Larry Bird trophy and award case --awesome!

Service was ok. The sides and appetizer didn't seem freshly prepared. I had the French lick Philly sandwich it was very good. Fish was good My wife's blue cheese hamburger was very good.

The atmosphere was good; a nice sports bar. Looked like it would be a good bar later at night. The food was tasty but nothing that I have to have again. If you have kids don't get the Mac and cheese as it is not macaroni or cheesy. The service was very good.

Nice place. Bar food. Stick with the easy stuff. I went for the Tilapia and it wasn't good.

First, if you are expecting fancy, this is not the place for you. It is a sports bar. It has fun sports memorabilia and a fun atmosphere, but is definitely not fancy. Prices are average for the town. My husband had the burger named after Larry Bird. He liked it. I had the filet mignon. You have to ask the waiter about it, but it is delicious. Though more expensive than most things on the menu, it is well worth it. It was one of the best steaks I have ever had. Also, try the asparagus. Very yummy! We went on a Friday and it was very busy. You can wait at the bar for your table. They are very accommodating. The service is good. I would recommend this place.

I can't speak for the other reviewers but our experience was very good. Lots of memorabilia, good food and the service as excellent. We had a burger and the tenderloin. Both very good, especially the tenderloin. The burger was chargrilled and had great flavor. Holly and Jessica waited on us and both were very friendly, on top of the service and made the whole evening fun. We will definitely go back.

We had an excellent early lunch here on a Sunday. I got a salad with cajun chicken on it. It was okay (lots of iceberg though) but the POTATO SOUP was the absoute best part of my meal. VERY YUMMY. The cupcakes are pretty darn good too and I got a free one because it was my birthday. Gloria was a very friendly server.

All the food here was very salty. Stay away from the fried pickles; the grilled salmon and the shrimp Alfredo. Waiter was defensive when we told him everything was terribly salty.

I've had better steaks at other places; however, I cleaned my plate because it was so much better than anything I had in French Lick thus far. A must have is the Cheesecake Factory chocolate cupcake. Yummy. Definitely carb-worthy!

French Lick Philly was dry and flavorless.... I had to put salt, pepper, and some brick chips on it to make it palatable... Brick chips were overdone and also flavorless.... Queso and chips we sub-par... I wasn't impressed :(

Really great restaurant in downtown French Lick. Great burgers and soup! Cute sports bar with a great atmosphere. The service was a bit slow, but not bad. We had the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were great. I had a mushroom swiss burger and chips and my husband had the bacon blue burger with fries. Don't "upgrade" to the fries; the chips are homemade and delicious. I also had the cream of mushroom soup and it was really really good also. This place is a steal - we had two meals, an app, and two beers for under $40.
